Rosecrans Avenue represents the adverse experiences that many children of low-income communities face: food insecurity, gang violence, alcoholism, etc. The film explores the fragility of innocence and the feeling of expendability which come with an upbringing in a city like Compton, CA. Shot on Kodak B&W 16mm with an Arri S. Written and Directed by Matt Gonzalez.
